Feng Shui Hell In A Hotel Room

Before this trip, I hadn’t really considered the importance of hotel Feng Shui. And why wouldn’t I when the same principles apply to any space we’re occupying, even if it’s just for one night. I wonder how many people walk out of this hotel room feeling ill, nervous, shattered and spooked. Some years ago I had my worst night’s sleep ever in this room. I had to check in quickly and rush off to a meeting which ended late at night. When I returned, I was desperate to drop into bed and sleep. I had no time to feng shui …

Would It Have Happened Anyway?

Things usually happen after a Feng Shui makeover, sometimes quickly, sometimes gradually. When you shift subtle energy, changes take place, and it’s often the small feng shui changes that bring about positive feng shui relationships with life-changing outcomes. Would it have happened anyway? This is what I sometimes hear after I have carried out Feng Shui on somebody’s home and positive things start happening. They wonder if these things would have happened anyway, without the Feng Shui. One of my clients had problems with partners. She seemed to attract domineering men with emotional baggage, and being a kind, helpful person, …

Computer Health

Computer health doesn’t just mean virus-free. It also means clutter-free. Energy gets stuck inside computers, as well as in homes and workplaces. It can influence writer’s block and feeling stuck in a rut. How often do we stare at our computers wondering what to do next? Stuck energy! Technology has gone crazy, I said, when I first heard about computer viruses. I stared at my very first computer, a birthday present that promised to transform my life. Way back then a virus meant a cold, flu or other illness. But this was a lump of metal and plastic! Even so, I …

Stuck To Free With Clutter Clearing

Let’s declutter your life, I said to Jan. She had chronic fatigue syndrome and food insensitivies, and her life was not moving at all. She was stuck like glue to inertia, lack of motivation and low morale. She was my feng shui client, and definitely the Queen of Clutter, with whole rooms in her house packed to overflowing with anything you can think of, as well as all her walls decorated with bits of paper, postcards, photos, telephone numbers and reminders. Even her cooker hob was a fall-out zone for bits of paper. Jan had many hobbies and interests, with hoards …

Feng Shui Is Powerful Energy Healing | Brenda Martin | Feng Shui Consultant | Oxford & Portugal

Feng Shui is Powerful Energy Healing

It is often simple changes that create positive Feng Shui energy. I’m thinking about one of my clients who kept breaking his legs, arms, wrist and more. His wife moved out, believing there was a ghost around. There were certainly a few things wrong with the energy in their house, and one of the culprits was such a simple thing. Feng Shui is amazing at clearing out bad energy in the surroundings, and it has many rules, tools and techniques to do it. But there is also a lot of common sense involved.  How often is our priority how the home looks, …

Feng Shui For Happy Children | Brenda Martin | Feng Shui Consultant | Oxford & Portugal

Feng Shui for Happy Children

Feng Shui for happy children can make a huge difference to a child’s behaviour and unique development. One of my clients had a child who was terrified at night and didn’t seem to like being in her bedroom. During my consultation, I suggested that my client remove the red rug from the daughter’s bedroom floor. Apart from being bright red, which is a yang colour, and yang is too vibrant an energy for a bedroom, the rug depicted a pouncing tiger with open mouth. Similar smaller images of the tiger were also on the red curtains. No wonder she was terrified. …
