Feng shui is based on the flow of nature, how energy (chi) flows through the universe and how it affects people. Feng shui’s principles are the laws of nature. If we ‘go with the flow’ of nature, we are balanced and our life flows well. If we go against the flow, things can be challenging.
The aim of Feng Shui is to create healthy, positive, balanced and harmonious energy in a property. The property will then support the occupants, and help to improve their mental, physical and emotional well-being, their opportunities and all aspects of their life, being health, relationships, career, family, finances, job and more.
You and your life reflect your surroundings or your personal space, whether a room or a whole dwelling. You absorb the energy around you. If the energy is stuck, negative, unhealthy or unbalanced, this is what you absorb and may be manifesting in your body and life: stuck in a rut, unhealthy, disorganised, low morale, life not working well.
You know if you need feng shui when things go wrong regularly, the same problems keep arising, small persistent illnesses hang around, relationships suffering. You may feel overwhelmed and don’t know which way to turn. You may feel that things just aren’t right, or the problem started when you moved in. These are all signs of negative energy. When you feel bad, you add your own bad energy to your surroundings. Thoughts and feelings are energy too.
Feng shui refreshes, re-renergises, revitalises. It gets the energy unblocked, balanced and free-flowing. Balanced energy creates balanced surroundings, body, mind and life. Each of the eight compass sectors of your surroundings relate to an area of your life, which is why things can start changing in your life.
Feng Shui creates good feelings. People report that feng shui creates the feeling they get after a spring-clean, a buzz of energy and a weight off the shoulders. Many people spend time after a ‘feng shui’ just sitting and enjoying the new energy. Others walk in and out of their rooms in disbelief that they feel so good everywhere.
You can do basic feng shui yourself. Get a better energy flow by re-arranging some things: Use your good directions, protect from harmful energy, strengthen different life areas, clear clutter and more. Our Feng Shui courses teach all this and more.
Clutter clearing is a powerful step to good energy. Stuck energy around clutter can make you feel awful. Once you start clearing your clutter, you free the energy and things start improving. Have a go and see what happens.
